Introduction

Anchor
Jhueifen Railway Station was built in the Japanese colonial period. “Jhueifen” in Japanese language means intersection, which signifies the intersection of mountain and coast line. It is often a film set for its retrospective atmosphere and a sense of hospitality.
Jhueifen Railway Station is among the very few unchanged stations of the coast line. All rooms are built with Taiwan cypress of excellent structural support. It is now a historic station well-preserved and carefully maintained by the Taiwan Railways Administration.
An interesting fact about the station is that there is no underpass nor overpass between the station and the platform, so railway station staff would have to lead passengers to cross the railway through to the platform. Moreover, there is a renowned souvenir available at the station that draw crowds to the usually quiet station, the Jhueifen-Chenggong Ticket. It is especially popular among students as it symbolizes a successful pursuit of good test results.
