Jiguang Street Shopping District

Posted Date:2021/08/13 3328

Jiguang Street close by Taichung Railway Station was the most prosperous district in Taichung during the Japanese colonial period. Stores selling daily commodities used to gather here. It is now a modern shopping district.
In conjunction with the nearby Luchuan West Street, Ziyou Street shopping district and the electronics street, the area is a pedestrian zone that offers a wide variety of merchandise ranging from computer components to sun cakes and Nagasaki cakes.
In addition to the most renowned Jiguang Fried Chicken, meat and egg sandwich, a local breakfast essential, the exotic Vietnamese baguette, lamb soup, Thai snacks and Indonesian cuisine are also some highly recommended dishes.
