Trail No.1 is the northernmost trail in Touke Mountain with altitudes ranging from 395 m to 700 m above sea level. The first half of the trail is paved with stones and cement, and it's blessed with a lush growth of trees along the whole path so that hikers won't be exposed to the sun. In the Physical Training Field as a combination of natural landscapes and physiographic feature, parents can take children here for outdoor activities, team competitions, or do some fitness training. If you visit here between spring and summer, you will find here covered with beautiful tung blossom and a spectacle of petals falling in riotous profusion.
Dakeng Trail No.1
Distance: About 1.6 km. The part of log trestle is more challenging. Please be aware of your own physical condition before entering the trail.
Entrance: Turn right from Dongshan Road to Zhuoshui Lane and walk about 6 km to get there.
Features: Trail No.1 is located in a forest area and bypasses orchards, bamboo forests and crosses two valleys on the way. It's back to mountains with humid subtropical climate. You'll find many fern species there and its rich original natural ecology resources. It presents diverse appearances.
