Located at the cross between Hanxi E. Rd. and Zhenxing Rd., Hanxi Market is crowded with 20,000 to 30,000 people on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, either getting a bit to eat or just there for fun. Although no more than 100 meters long, the food court is jam packed with over 80 street food vendors, with each vendor literally side by side with one another with no spaces in between. Here are a few recommendations: “$10 Grills,” “Grilled Squid,”“Dongshan Duck Head,”“Crispy Sparerib,”“Black Tea Ice,”and “Cutting Licorice Guava,”which are all delicious foods you can’t do without.
