Located along Daan River, Maifuping Hiking Trail is located in an Atayal tribe named “Shuangqi”. The trailhead is located right next to the Ziyou Neighborhood of Heping District.

If you pass through the ruins of canal, red-brick water tower, centennial beech and other characteristic attractions during the hiking, you can stop by to observe them closely or take a photo therewith for memory. The trail ends at Shuangqi Tribe, where you will see characteristic indigenous buildings on the roadside square, providing you the opportunity to experience the Atayal culture.
